- Rototil veggie soil if dry; eliminates pests
- Attack unwanted brush
- Prune the following: Fruit trees, abelia, callicarpa, crepe myrtle, dogwood
- Continue to put out bulbs
- Chop kudzu
- Transplant leafless shrubs on a warm day when ground is not frozen
- Fertilize pansies on a sunny day
- Prep beds for bare-root roses which will arrive in nurseries soon
- Apply lime, sulfer and fertilizer to veggie bed (5-10-10 or 6-12-12)
- Plant pansies and english daisies in sun when weather is mild
- Take store bought Amaryllis and remove stems and blooms - treat like houseplant
- Check houseplants for mites; spray if necessary
