We finally had someone come and clear the kudzu and debris along the fence line. What a wonderful feeling to be able to maintain the fence so much easier. Dan can get back there with the mower now (the tractor mower) and keep the weeds at bay. We love being able to see the fence.

The first picture below is a white one that showed up in the back yard several years ago - an anemone? The second and third (one of the flower and one of the leaf) pictures show a flower that showed up in the bed this year. They are different, but similar. I wish I knew how it got there and what it is:

I have had this viburnum for 6 years. Last year I moved it from pot to the ground and it bloomed this year for the very first time.

Finally, the spirea and Lady Banks. I was going to move them, but I think I will keep them here. With a lot of the kudzu gone, they may just work here. But they were not able to get all the way back behind these plants so I still have a lot of work to do back there.
