Got a new cookbook (see Friday) and I am using it this week in a serious way. Most things in it sound more to me like Fall and Winter meals, but I am doing a few things now!
Friday - Stewed Shell Beans and Summer Veggies (from Local Flavors) and Quinoa and Turkey Cutlets with Fusion Flavors (from my NEW cookbook, Whole Grains), (guests tonight) - carrots and peppers from garden, beans and potatoes from Farmers Market
Saturday - Dinner at Serenbe yeah!
Sunday - Masa-harina-beef casserole (Whole Grains CB)
Monday - Beef Barley and Mushroom Soup (Whole Grains CB)
Tuesday - Chicken n Dumplins (lay out farm chicken on Monday, make tortillas using skillet, cornbread [add peppers??]) (FYI, this is same as last week - I never made it)
Wednesday - Polenta with Ethiopian Chicken Stew (Whole Grains CB)
Thursday - left over night!
